Your settings, on the light itself

The TM PRO manual describes two ways to programme the lighting. Choose a mode, set the clock and check how your cycle runs.

Touch LCD screen

The integrated controller lets you set the time, schedule, intensity and colours. The manual explains the navigation and setting buttons.

Simple mode

Set switching times with the sunrise and sunset transitions offered by this mode. Moonlight is an optional setting.

Custom mode

Define timed points and their light levels. The manual describes an automatic progression between programmed points.

HWhite and RGB

Adjust white light and the red, green and blue channels. A colour setting is not a measurement of the light reaching the leaves.

Check the clock

Set the clock when installing the light. The manual says to reset it after unplugging; also check your programmed time slots.

Each habitat has its own needs

Duration and intensity depend on the plants, ambient light and any animals present. No single programme suits every habitat.

Consider natural daylight, foliage and the actual distance to the light. Increase lighting gradually and observe how your plants respond.

Terrarium

Keep an appropriate cycle

In animal habitats, visible lighting does not replace the UVB or heating required by the species. Preserve a suitable dark period; do not assume the moonlight setting suits every animal.

Install with care

Use the supplied adapter and supports. Secure the light, maintain adequate ventilation and do not cover it. Never handle plugs or cables with wet hands; protect the installation from watering and misting.
