Make sure your habitat is always clean and functional to guarantee a healthy life for your scaly companions.
Its adjustable reach of 18 cm to 66 cm makes it ideal for handling small to medium-sized snakes. For very large species, longer, sturdier tools may be necessary, but it remains very versatile for the majority of everyday situations in terrarium keeping.
Yes, this telescopic hook is a handling accessory for reptiles. It is therefore indirectly compatible with an environment equipped with TerraLED LED lighting. Our SpectraWILD or SpectraPANEL lamps can help create a healthy environment for the ornamental plants in your terrarium or for your indoor crops, which can serve as substrate or décor for your reptiles.
After each use, clean the hook with a disinfectant suitable for terrariums. Dry it carefully before putting it away to prevent any corrosion and extend its service life. Take care not to force the telescopic mechanism.
Although designed primarily for snakes ('Snake Hook'), this type of hook can be used with care for other reptiles of an appropriate size that require handling at a distance, such as certain lizards. However, always make sure that the tool is suited to the animal's fragility and behaviour.
