Chunky Houseplant Mineral Mix - SYBASoil

Coarse mineral substrate for houseplants

Same composition as the fine version, but in a coarser grain size. The spaces between the granules let air through to the heart of the pot, which is what thick-rooted plants are looking for.

Composition

Coarse-grade pumice, zeolite and crushed lava, complemented by activated carbon.

For which plants

• Monstera, philodendrons and other aroids.
• Plants with fleshy or aerial roots.
• Large pots and planters.

Use

Rinse the roots before repotting. The coarse structure drains very quickly: plan for more frequent watering, or a water reservoir at the bottom of the pot in semi-hydroponics.

Packaging

5-litre bag.
